DIY M&Ms

DIY ALL THE TIME

M&Ms PHONE CASE

Sticking to the DIY phone case theme. Comes my favorite phone case that i made, my M&Ms phone case which i love because M&Ms are my absolute favorite candies. When i thought of the idea of a candy themed phone case i made it my goal to come up with an easy and inexpensive way to create one. This is what i have come up with. I hope you like!

First you will need:

~Scissors
~Paintbrush
~Phone case (any color)
~Mod Podge- Matte,water-base sealer.
~King Size M&Ms (your favorite candy wrapper)

Paintbrush- $3.50 Michaels
Phone case- $1.99 Amazon
Mod Podge- $9.00 Ebay
King Size M&Ms- $2.00 Liquor store

STEP 1: Cut off the back of the candy wrapper. CAREFUL not to cut through the front of the wrapper.

STEP 2: Tear off edges of the wrapper. Tear slowly. Again, CAREFUL not to cut the front of wrapper.

STEP 3: Paint a thin yet generous amount of the Mod Podge. Only covering the flat surface of the phone case with the Mod Podge.
(You will paint the edges in a later step)

STEP 4: Cover the flat part of the phone case with the candy wrapper. Smooth down the candy wrapper with your fingers.
*In doing so you are getting rid of the wrinkles and air bubbles.

STEP 5:  Cut the corners of the wrapper. DO NOT cut off corners. All you are doing is cutting a straight line from the point of the corner until the scissors hit phone case and can no longer to cut further.
*This will make gluing the corners much easier and keep the corners of the case clean and flat.

STEP 6: Let dry for 15 min. Once the wrapper has set in with the glue.

STEP 7:Begin cutting off the excess wrapper hanging off the side of the phone case.

STEP 8: Lastly, seal the candy wrapper with Mod Podge. Apply a thin coat of Mod Podge and let dry for 15 min. Repeat with a second coat.

                       DONE!

*Sorry to those of you who may have come across my blog a last week and have come back and the posts were
